Associate
$55/Per Year
- Associate members are non-school psychologists, allied professionals and retired persons interested in school psychology
- Persons eligible for Active status may not apply for Associate status
- Exceptions may be granted by the Executive Board
Retired
$30/Per Year
- Retired membership status is limited to persons who are at least 50 years of age and who have been Active members for at least three consecutive years.
- Retired is defined as being on official “retired” status with the Personnel Office of one’s former employer and are not presently professionally active in school psychology for compensation on more than a half-time basis.
Active
Most Popular
$100/Per Year
- Applicant must be a school psychologist holding a current valid certification as a School Psychologist or psychometrist.
- The certificate need not necessarily be a Maryland certificate provided the certification meets the minimum standards established by NASP for National Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Current and valid certification from State Boards of Education other than Maryland may also be considered.
- Exceptions may be granted by the Executive Board.
Early Career
$50/Per Year
- A school psychologist in their first year working in the field of school psychology.
Student
$30/Per Year
- Student membership shall be open to any full time student enrolled in a college or university who is interested in school psychology but not yet certified for practice.
- The prospective member must attest to status as a full-time student, use their university email address, and provide an expected date of graduation.
- Student members are required to upgrade to Active membership when certified.
- Persons eligible for Active membership may not apply for student status.
- Exceptions may be granted by the Executive Board.
