Student Workshops

Students from immigrant families face a unique set of challenges.  In addition to understanding and working through their adolescence, these students struggle to adapt to a new school environment, new expectations, new cultural exposures, and new languages!

As a committee, we recognize this unique set of needs, and seek to provide a unique form of support for these students.  Our partnership with the International Rescue Committee has provided us the opportunity to deliver workshops to the students involved with the rescue committee.  Our workshops focus on themes of resilience, recognizing & celebrating strengths, and identifying coping strategies for handling stressful transitions and changes.

If you would like to be a part of our student workshops, please contact us at family@mspaonline.org or publicaffairs@mspaonline.org .
