Project:

Jars of Hope

We recognize a need to support families with children who are refugees or who have immigrant status.

We are proud to share that we are collecting donations of items to fill jars with school and homework supplies for immigrant and refugee children to continue their education while they are in transition.

Jars of Hope may include:

  • crayons, notepads, markers, glue sticks, pencils, pens, Play-Doh, hand sanitizer, mini card games, erasers, “random acts of kindness” activities, and/or jump drives (for middle and high school students).

MSPA members can support the Jars of Hope project by donating any of the above items or a monetary donation of $5 to 10 to create jars for children!

If you are interested in donating to the Jars of Hope project, or would like to begin a Jars of Hope effort in your district, please contact us at family@mspaonline.org or publicaffairs@mspaonline.org .

To date, 80 Jars of Hope have been delivered to students in need!!

Vision: All students will thrive in school, at home, and throughout their lives.

Mission: MSPA promotes and advocates for best practices in school psychology to improve learning, behavior, and mental health for all students, families, and schools.
