MSPA 6th Annual Diversity Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster presentations are an informal and interactive opportunity to share research, data and innovative practice at the MSPA 2017 spring conference on Friday, April 21st at The Preserve at Arundel Mills.

Topics proposed should promote diversity, cultural awareness and/or culturally competent practice within the field of school psychology.

Proposals should be typed in a Microsoft Word Document with size 12 font, double-spaced, and attached in an email to diversity@mspaonline.org by March 1, 2017.

Please write an ABSTRACT of 200 words or less, containing the objectives of the poster presentation. The ABSTRACT should include:

- The title of the presentation
- Presenter name(s)
- University or school system affiliation
- The purpose of the presentation
- What will be presented.
- How the presentation will benefit participants.

Accepted proposals will be notified by
March 15, 2017.

ATTENTION STUDENTS:

While the poster presentation is open to practitioners and students alike, four winning STUDENT poster presentations will be awarded to attend a stipend to the conference.

Due to budgetary constraints, if there is more than one person submitting on the proposal, only the first author will be awarded the stipend to attend the conference.

Students who receive the award must register for the conference in advance and do not need to be members of MSPA to participate.

Best of luck and we look forward to reviewing your information!
