MSPA 8th Annual Call for Posters

The diversity committee is pleased to announce the 8th Annual Call for Posters for the 2019 MSPA Spring conference. This year we will be accepting proposals from both graduate students and practitioners focusing on diversity, cultural awareness and/or culturally competent practice within the field of school psychology.

Graduate students and practitioners can submit proposals related to class projects, school-based interventions, program evaluation and professional development training in school districts. This poster presentation is a great way to share your interests with others and gear up for national presentations.

The deadline for submission is February 1, 2019.

Accepted proposals will be notified by March 8, 2019.

See guidelines & details for submissions HERE!

MSPA has over 55 years of service to Maryland’s school children and their families.
We are planning our 6th annual fundraising event to benefit the School Psychologists’ Advancement of Minorities (SPAM) scholarship fund, to be held on April 21, 2017, at the Preserve at Arundel Mills.
In order to successfully carry out our event we need help from Maryland businesses, school systems, and community partners.

Support may be contributed in two ways:

1) A direct contribution to SPAM

2) A gift for the silent auction.

Of course, anyone who makes a contribution will be recognized in writing and announced at the event.

Any contribution that you make is greatly appreciated!  MSPA will donate all proceeds from the 6th annual fundraiser to SPAM scholarship fund.

Checks should be made payable to MSPA and sent to:
MSPA Diversity Co-Chair,
Sharon Gorenstein
2431 Everton Road
